Textile Designer. Colour Specialist. 20+ years crafting bespoke designs for commercial + residential spaces.
My creative journey began at home, watching my mum sew with flair and imagination — early memories that sparked a lifelong love of design, texture, and the transformative power of colour.
That spark became a career spanning over fifteen years in textile and surface pattern design, collaborating with some of Australia's most recognised names in interiors. I've designed custom collections for Coco Republic, partnered with Taubmans Paints on colour direction, and created bespoke textiles for Three Birds Renovations across more than a decade of projects together.
My work has been featured in numerous Australian publications such as Belle, Vogue, Home Beautiful, House & Garden, where editor Karen McCartney said "Grace Garrett is a leading light in Australian textile design," and I was also featured as one of Australia's Top Women in Design.

Teaching Colour with Confidence
For eight years, I taught colour theory and design at Sydney Design School, helping the next generation of creatives find their confidence with colour.
That passion for colour education also led me to create GG Colour School, an online platform where designers and colour lovers learn to work with palettes intuitively and with intention.
rooted in place
Every Collection Tells a Story
Every collection I create is rooted in place. Living in Singapore inspired Beauty of Asia. The Northern Beaches of Sydney became Nature's Hideout. The vast Australian landscape gave us Sunburnt Country.
Now, based in Canberra, I'm drawing on the eucalypt shadows, native grasses, and bushland textures of the ACT to develop Capital Lines — my newest collection, and a love letter to Australia's capital.

My design library spans thirteen collections and counting, and every pattern can be customised to suit your vision. Choose from our curated colourways or bring your own palette.
We print onto a wide range of substrates — upholstery, drapery, acoustic panelling, wallpaper, even window film — and our luxury rug program offers custom designs in any size, weave, shape, or colour.
