MEET GRACE GARRETT
Artist + Designer + Colour Educator
.My creative journey began at home, watching my mum sew clothes with flair and imagination. Those early moments stirred a lifelong love for design, texture, and the emotive power of colour.
Today, that spark has evolved into a multifaceted career that blends colour design, pattern design, and interior styling, shaped by collaborations with brands like Taubmans Paints, Coco Republic, and leading architectural and property development firms across Australia.
I’m the founder of GG Colour School, an online platform where I share my colour expertise with fellow creatives—helping them reimagine spaces, art, and design projects with confidence and clarity.
Through my personal brand Grace Garrett, I design nature-inspired prints that bring warmth, character, and creativity into residential and commercial interiors. From fabric, wallpaper, cushions, and bed linen to custom rugs and bespoke accessories, my collections are made to transform spaces with soul.
My work is deeply inspired by the natural world and built environments—from Australian landscapes and coastal textures to sculptural architecture and weathered materials.
My latest collection, Nature's Hideout, draws from personal memories of my former garden on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, featuring elements like magpies, banana palms, sandstone erosion, driftwood, and woven rattan. These motifs blend effortlessly with bold geometrics and earthy, organic palettes that feel both modern and timeless.
Nature and the environment—both natural and architectural—have always been at the core of my design philosophy, shaping each of my collections with a strong sense of place, texture, and emotion.
I’m proud to collaborate with Materialised, Three Birds Renovations, Tile Republic, Style Source Book and Fine Print Co, with my designs now featured in interiors, architectural projects, and curated art spaces across Australia.
Every design begins with a moment in nature—and ends with a feeling. A mood. A transformation.
That’s the magic of colour.
